9  ERGMs

In this section we develop and explain the “Exponential-family Random Graph Model” (ERGM). ERGMs are a generalized linear model, similar in many ways to logistic regression, but they relax the assumption of independence. They provide a principled, general, flexible statistical modeling framework for networks.
