  • What is your target population and disease (or process) of interest?
  • What is your (network-modeling-related) research question?
  • What are the key configurations of network structure for your population and disease that you would want to include in a model?
  • How do those configurations directly connect to your research question?
  • What are specific approaches (e.g., ergm terms) that you would use to implement those network configurations?
